Our courses are currently led by brothers Abhijatri and Balarka Robinson, lifelong students of Sri Chinmoy’s meditation path. Originally from Zimbabwe, they began teaching meditation in 1997 and have since travelled widely, offering courses for many years in New Zealand, South Africa, and now Australia.
Their classes combine practical techniques with light-hearted personal stories and insights drawn from a variety of meditation traditions. The result is a down-to-earth and friendly introduction to building a daily meditation practice — even amidst the demands of a busy life.
While teaching meditation is a central part of their lives, both brothers also work full-time as water engineers with Sydney-based consulting firms. Reflecting on how meditation has shaped his life, Balarka shares:
“Meditation has given me a great sense of peace and purpose. I’m immensely grateful that I discovered it when I did. It has had such a profound impact on my life that I can no longer imagine a day without it.”
